Lessons Learned

I have finished my 4 month contract. YAY! What did I learn from 4 months back at work?

1) I don't want to work full-time anymore.
2) I can't work full-time and get anything else done.
3) I don't want to work full-time anymore

As of next week, I'll go back to work at the same place, but only 2 days per week. I think I can handle that.

  1. I don't know if I could work full-time anymore. It feels like I'm working full-time now, and I'm not.

    1. Yes. Exactly. I think even working 2 days a week I still won't have time to do things. Not fancy things, just things like keeping the laundry caught up.

  2. I don't want to work full-time anymore either. Yesterday I went to see Can You Forgive Me to try and pick up some pointers on living a life of part-time crime.

    1. What kind of crime? What if you crimed, then I podcasted about it. We both win.

  3. I totally agree with this post. I need to work, I can't get a job, but your points mean that I am not entirely unhappy with that situation.

  4. I don't want to work full-time anymore but in my field (consulting) part-time ends up being full-time with less pay.

  5. As always, I'm lagging behind everyone with comments! Your logic is perfect, says the person not working, who still has trouble getting things done.
