Whatever

The "actor" is giving me nothing but snark, and apparently sees nothing odd about an old man insisting on changing in the same room as a 12-year-old. I wish I had listened to people and refused to cast him.

  1. What does the 12-year-old think? And are there any potential legal ramifications you need to be worried about?

  2. Argh. The fact he is kicking up such a stink makes me more suspicious of his intentions. Dangle the words "paedophile" and "police" and see if he shuts up.

  3. Thankfully, the drama is over. Upon arrival at rehearsal last night, the actor quietly removed his things from the change room. What does the child think? She was uncomfortable changing in front of men, but in general she seems to like him. Now that I've cooled down, I want to be fair to him. I don't think he's a perv. A lot of theatres have men and women changing together, regardless of age, and many (including my daughter) have no issues dropping down to their skivvies in front of cast-members. But we have separate rooms, and most of the women who act at our theatre are grateful for a little bit of privacy.

    1. At 12 or 55, and any age in between, I would have been grateful for a little bit of privacy!
