Anne still looks like hell, but she's doing better than I am. I know she thought she and Mark would get back together some day. She told me she started a gratitude journal - it keeps the darkness away, she says. I want to try. I am grateful for things, but mostly I just feel rage.
  1. I'm grateful I had a cool big brother for all those years
  2. I'm grateful to be alive (some days)
  3. I'm grateful I am left-handed (that's a joke, son)
  4.  
I guess that's enough.
